We know you’ve already got a lot on your mind when you’re moving so we thought we’d put together this handy guide to help you out.

Moving is an effort but we’re here to make the process as easy and smooth as possible. We’re always on hand to answer your questions, so don’t be shy!

Step 1: Book a viewing.

Just give us a buzz on 07723 612197 or book a viewing and we will be in touch to get you booked in.

Step 2: Reserve your new home.

Once you choose your new home, we take a reservation payment. This lets you call dibs on your new home while we get it ready for you, process your application and sort out referencing. This payment is then taken off your first months’ rent.

Step 3: Sign on the dotted line.

This is the boring but important bit. We’ll kick things off with referencing checks then share a tenancy agreement with you to sign. Make sure you check this document properly, it’s a biggie!

We’ll also chat through deposit options. You can either pay 5 weeks rent, which is securely held in the Tenancy Deposit Scheme, or go with the nil deposit scheme, with a one-off fee equivalent to 28% of one month’s rent plus VAT.

Step 4: Give notice.

Time to tell your landlord that you’re moving out, it’s worth double checking your tenancy agreement well ahead of time to make sure you give enough notice.

Step 5: Start packing.

The countdown is now on! We all know how much of a hassle packing can be but at least you'll be moving into a brand spanking new place to call home very soon!

Step 6: Download the Ollo app.

The Ollo app has it all. It’s a place to get to know your neighbours, sign up to resident events, nab exclusive discounts, manage your tenancy and book additional services. It’s also where you can log any maintenance issues or ask the Ollo team any questions.

Step 7: Move in and get settled.

The big day is finally here! When you come to collect the keys, we’ll show you around your new digs and how to use everything. You’ll have internet from the day you move in, so no faffing around waiting weeks to get connected.

Of course, the Ollo team are just downstairs if you have any questions, or need help with anything at all!
